bear with a sore head!!

Yes that me, not because I have been drinking but because I am just wound up with things (life) at the moment. So certain people think now is a good time to push my buttons and this is despite me explaining to them earlier exactly how I felt. Well it is not a good time to push my button or test me………….

Because I am so wound up the diet has gone down the pan this week, it is not looking good

Last weekend I found two small cracks in our 2 year old front door, contacted the company that supplied and fitted it (life time guarantee for as long as we live in the property) and they said they would come and check it. Thursday morning daughter could not lock the front door from the outside, noticed a large crack about 1/8″ wide running from the corner of the windows toward the letter box. Contacted the supplier again to get an engineer out on Friday to adjust the door so we could lock it and get the door inspected. He found two more cracks in the front panel of the door, now waiting to hear what they are going to do about the front door.

Never went out for a ride this morning, as the weather was pants, forecast is for better weather tomorrow so hopefully I will go out then. After tomorrows ride the Whyte is having a bit of a major service, the bike has an annoying creak and click and as I am holiday now till 1st November (half term) I have decided to get the bike sorted. I have gathered a range of exotic lubricants required for the job so it should be fun (like I am not stressed out enough already). Once sorted I will do a couple of rides during the week, not sure where yet weather dependant.

Going to add a new section to the web site, for the routes I ride, been on my mind to do for a while and as somebody else has added one to their blog (sorry Pete), I said what the hell I will add a routes page as well, so keep watching over the next couple of days for it to appear.

Sounds like you’re a stress eater. I’m a boredom eater( plus I love eating), so I have to keep myself occupied, while you must keep stress at bay. Both so easy to say, yet so very hard to do. Perhaps recognising these facts will help us both. Keep riding thosed miles, I find it’s the best stress buster available, plus it’s very difficult to eat a sandwich whilest pedalling. Cheers

I am definitely a stress eater and as you say it easier to say don’t get stressed than do. Went out for a ride this morning although a bit late for me (I normally leave home around 7:30am) as I watched the F1 Grand Prix, had not intend to but it was on when I got up so I stayed sat in front of the TV and watched it till the end.

Enjoyed the ride although my legs were very heavy at the start which I have noticed when I have eaten badly in the past. Mind you I think I could prove you wrong regarding eating a sandwich while riding :)
