Poole Quay Dream Machines

By | 26/06/2022

Locals know it as bike night, when a couple of thousand motorbike’s descend on Poole Quay. Everything  replica racer to an old moped. They do this for nothing more then being oggled at by the public. About half mile of Poole quay is closed to motor vehicles (but not mortorbikes). You can walk among the bikes and stand next to them, but don’t touch.

This weekly even takes place every Tuesday during the summer until 27th September. If you want to bring your bike there is more info at Poole Tourism. For the person that just wants to oggle, just come to Poole Quay from 6pm onwards. For the family on holiday or day out, come and do one of the harbour boat tours or go to Brownsea island, then Bike night in the evening. With 6 pubs, at least 14 restaurant & take aways, a supermarket along the length of the event you wont be hungry or thirsty (there are many more just off the quay).

Here are a few from a recent night
